Well, the last time I posted something was... last November? Figured I'd better post something so people don't think I'm dead or something. I don't get much time to draw for myself these days, but I still do here and there. Getting a little bit better at the whole inking thing, but still got a ways to go. This one I sketched out over at my friends' place during the first real snow fall we had near the begining of this year, and I mangled it with some awful perspective. Guess that's what I get for not paying attention, eh? It was mostly for fun anyway, just wish I caught my mistakes before I inked it. I have a few other things I'm working on, and I'll post those as I get them done. Spring break is coming up at the end of this week, so what free time I have aside from homework I'll have for drawing and coloring and I'll see what I can pull from that. Until then, here's a little doodle to show that I'm not yet dead.
//edit: The wonderful ChibiKenshin colored this one for me, can't believe it took me this long to update. ^_^; Sorry about that. You can find her colored version here! [link]
Thanks, I was kinda hoping for that. I was trying to follow the mood that day. Watching big chunks of snow fall from the sky. ^_^ If you like, feel free to color this. That'd be really cool of you. I'm not too sure if I plan on it myself any time soon. I can send over a high quality line art if you like as well.
Thanks!
I'm sure you could do something better. You need to spend some time making background enviroments too. I'd bet you could pull off something good. ^_^
I don't want to steal your thunder if you wanted to color it, but I really think it would look pretty if it were colored. Not that it isn't beautiful now mind you.
My email is thedonkeydog@gmail.com if you could send the high rez picture <33

No worries, no thunder stolen. Quite the opposite actually. I'm actually flattered you think it's good enough to spend time coloring. Besides, I'm always up for someone else's interpretation of a drawing. ^_^ I'll send that one right over.
Yeah... it's been a while. And my style has changed a little from this even. I've been doing a few more studies from life with some of my newer drawings, I think it's helped push my style in the direction I want to take it. Before I was just sorta stuck not knowing where to go.
Oh, and no worries about the obituary notice, it's better if the hitmen believe that I am dead. Though I'm sure it will only sway them for a moment, them bounty hunters are crafty people. XD
That's looks like a lot for a little doodle. Yeah, the lines are sharper and more defined in your new drawing style, but will the aura-like texture still be there to soften the picture when you color it?
I nearly laughed on the floor when I saw the title "husky lady." What a pun. I know that she is a husky, but is she husky? LOL
I hope to see more from your new style if you will be posting new drawings soon.
Some people have been asking me about this stuff so I decided to gather all information in one single article on how to make your own portfolio, in a profesional and clean looking way. I hope it's useful, because these steps I myself take.
DeviantArt is full of extremely well produced artistic fashion and fine art photographs. Make up. Styling. Creation of scenery. Story. Light. Glamour. A combination of these expressions sometimes make up a great photograph. But the protagonists of these pictures are usually female.
So... now it's the time for male models to come into focus.
How to make DA work for YOU! Taking an in-depth look at how to make deviantART work for you, and getting the most out of your user experience. How to get comments, watches, your work scene, commented on, critiqued, and what you have to do. These are some of the things which I have learned since joining more than 4 1/2 years ago.
`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More

|D Heh, Don't be so hard on yourself... This is a good picture. It looks more stylized than the other stuff that... was like, from last year.
