My computer died, again.

I still have my laptop, otherwise I'd be in a much bigger pinch. But it'll sorta slow me down communication wise, so I may not be very quick with responses these days, not that I am now or anything. *shifty eyes*

I'm hoping the problem is a simple one and that at worst, I'll just have to spend an afternoon fixing the problem. However, problems are rarely a simple one when it comes to me. Soooo.... yeah, guess those updates will have to wait a little.

spring? break? really!?

Every part of spring break feels like a joke. XD
Just last week we had a blizzard, the hardest snow storm we've had all winter, and it's supposed to be spring? Though I suppose the break part is partly true, it's at least a break from classes and some time to get caught up on some school work. I'll mostly be spending it finishing off commissions and fixing/moving into our basement. Some arts should show up soon. I want to try out my new markers so I'll have at least one thing done in markers. Those things are sickeningly addicting.
If anything, it'll be a nice break from things. School has been pretty intense for me lately, barely had time to breath and keep up. I'll be able to get in some time with Brawl too, since my bro picked up a copy. ^_^

*yay*

Happy S.A.D. day everyone!

With only a few hours left of it, happy Singles Awareness Day! ROFLcopter!

On a side note, anyone looking to get some anatomy practice in, check this out...

Click on 30 second drawing, follow the instructions and sketch away! Gesture sketches are one of the best ways to get better, and this will run through a random sketch for what ever timer period you select. I actually find it hard to stop sketching once I start.

thanks for latest post...

Thanks a ton guys! It's only been a couple of days and already I got a ton of great pointers. Everyone's critique was a big help, I had a few real eye openers.
I'm thinking of trying this a little more often. I've come to realize that after a full semester, my anatomy hasn't really gotten any stronger, and I feel I've actually regressed a little. I've become quite disappointed in myself in this regard, so I've been trying to work on my anatomy more. I have some great friends here at deviantART, as you guys have shown, and if any of you are interested, I'd love to return the favor. If anyone wants critiques, post up a journal entry or let me know and I'll do my best! I'll warn you though that it's tough to get on everyday mainly due to my school load, so please have patience with me.

Receiving honest critiques with actual content is something I love about this place. Seems like when ever I ask for it, people actually tell me not only that they think something is wrong, but actually take some time to point out and explain why they think so. Any artist knows how valuable an asset this is, and just want to take a short bit of time aside and say thanks to everyone who has given me them in the past as well as currently.
I've recently put up a drawing I did after being inspired by one of my favorite artists, and also as an exercise to see if I can get myself to draw faster. I'm pretty freakin' slow when it comes down to it. Well, it's pretty open to critique, and I've been getting some good stuff on it, but I'd appreciate it if there is anyone else out there who could give me some pointers on the anatomy. It's not something that I desperately need help with, as it's mostly just a doodle, but if you have some spare time it'd be great to hear from some of you. I'll leave it up in my gallery for a little while longer, but eventually it'll be moved into scraps, and then later I'll decided whether I will take it down or not. Thanks again to everyone who has already commented on it, I do appreciate it. I'll probably be asking for it more heavily in the future as I sort of feel like my progress is slowing or coming close to halting.
